Rosacea
Rosacea is a common chronic skin condition which usually occurs on the face, in mainly fair-skinned individuals.
The age of onset can vary, but this can manifest from mid-thirties, through to 60 years. It can be more common in women but does affect men as well and can persist for some time with fluctuating symptoms. Rosacea usually affects the cheeks, forehead, chin and nose which appear as persistant redness caused by dilated blood vessels, as well as pustular blemishes.
Whilst it is recognised that there is no cure, there are a number of treatment options, in conjunction with possible lifestyle adjustments that improve the symptoms. At Anna Baker Aesthetics, we provide a range of award-winning skin care brands and formulations especially for sensitive skins, combined with in-clinic treatments, such as chemical peels and LED Flex phototherapy from the award winning Dermalux technologies. which delivers clinically proven wavelengths, such as red and near infrared light for it’s advanced rejuvenation and calming properties for skin.
A full consultation and assessment/skin analysis is recommended to determine the most appropriate course of treatment.
